SafeDeal operates with strict data minimization principles. We ensure zero exposure of sensitive financial credentials across our platform infrastructure.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, publish a digital asset listing, or launch an ad run, we collect relevant information necessary to manage your marketplace activity:
- Account Data: Username, email address, and profile settings.
- Listing Details: Asset title, category, description, asking price, and verification proof files.
- Promotional Campaign Settings: Selected ad budget (minimum $1 USD), campaign duration (3-day or 7-day runs), and targeted category placements.
- Technical & Log Data: IP address, device type, browser identifiers, and access timestamps for fraud prevention.
2. Processing of Payment Information
SafeDeal partners with authorized payment platforms Paddle and Polar to facilitate checkout for listing promotions, featured badges, and ad runs.
When you make a payment, your credit card details are submitted directly through secure iframes or redirect checkouts operated by Paddle/Polar. SafeDeal never intercepts, accesses, logs, or stores your raw card credentials. Our systems receive only an encrypted confirmation token and transaction receipt identifier.
3. How We Use Collected Data
We use your information exclusively for legitimate platform operations:
- To display, index, and promote your digital asset listings across the SafeDeal marketplace.
- To manage and serve scheduled 3-day and 7-day promotional ad runs starting from $1 USD.
- To detect and prevent fraudulent listings, unauthorized account takeovers, or policy violations.
- To notify you of buyer inquiries and transaction updates.
4. Information Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. Data is shared strictly with essential service providers under confidentiality agreements, including payment infrastructure providers (Paddle, Polar), hosting and CDN networks, and legal authorities when required by applicable law.
5. Data Retention & User Rights
You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your account and listing records at any time. Active ad campaign records and financial transaction receipts are retained in accordance with statutory tax and compliance guidelines.
